Terms & Conditions
The terms covering quotations, bookings, access, payment and liability for work carried out by Refresh & Revive Cleaning Solutions Ltd.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to exterior cleaning services supplied by Refresh & Revive Cleaning Solutions Ltd (company number 16672313), Nelson Mill, Bolton BL1 2QE, United Kingdom. Accepting a quotation means accepting these terms.
2. Quotations and pricing
Quotations are free and set out fixed, itemised pricing for the surfaces described. A quotation is based on the information, photographs and access details supplied to us, and is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
If the condition, size or access of a surface is materially different from what we were shown, we will discuss it with you and agree any revised price in writing before continuing. We do not add charges on the day without your agreement.
3. Bookings and cancellations
Dates are confirmed in advance. If you need to rearrange, please give us as much notice as possible and we will offer the next available date. We may reschedule where weather conditions would compromise the safety of our team or the quality of the result.
Consumers have the statutory right to cancel a contract agreed off-premises or at distance within 14 days. Where you have asked us to begin within that period, you may be liable for work already carried out.
4. Access, water and services
You agree to provide safe access to the areas to be cleaned on the agreed date, including access to a water supply and power where our method requires it. Vehicles, garden furniture and other movable items should be cleared where possible.
Please tell us in advance about anything we cannot see: loose pointing, defective render, previous repairs, damaged sealant, faulty glazing seals, unsecured roof tiles, blocked drains or historic damage, so we can select the correct method.
5. Method and results
We select the method to suit the surface: hot water at up to 120°C and rotary cleaning on suitable hard paving, and low-pressure soft washing with surface-safe chemistry on render, historic brick and delicate stone.
Exterior cleaning restores a surface; it is not a resurfacing or repair service. Some staining, oil penetration, spalling, efflorescence, wear and previous damage may not be fully reversible. Where we expect a limitation, we will tell you before we start.
6. Protection of property
We protect planting, joinery and drainage, plan hose routes and control run-off before work begins. We are fully insured for residential and commercial work, and our operatives are DBS checked.
We are not liable for pre-existing defects, or for damage arising from defects that were not disclosed to us and were not reasonably visible on inspection.
7. Photographs
We photograph every job before and after as a record of the work carried out and as part of our quality control. Where we would like to use an image publicly we will do so without identifying you, and we will remove any image on request.
8. Payment
Payment is due on completion unless different terms are agreed in writing, for example scheduled commercial contracts invoiced monthly. Where a deposit is agreed for larger works, it will be set out clearly in the quotation.
9. Concerns and complaints
If any part of the finish does not meet the standard set out in your quotation, tell us within 7 days of completion. We will inspect and, where the shortfall is our responsibility, return to put it right.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out, except where the law does not allow such a limitation. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
